Schunk - At AMB 2026, SCHUNK will demonstrate productivity throughout the entire process chain – from workpiece and tool clamping, to automated machine loading and unloading. Visitors will experience how consistent sequences, short setup times and high repeat accuracy can make existing machine capacities more cost-effective.
Schunk - With the spin-off of a new company at the beginning of January 2026, SCHUNK is consolidating its activities in humanoid robotics and positioning itself as a key player in the growing market. The new company aims to develop modular humanoid robot hands for industrial applications, thereby systematically expanding the availability and use of humanoid systems.
Schunk - The 2D Grasping Kit reliably handles repetitive, monotonous handling tasks and is easy to operate even without expert know-how. The intelligent solution also convinced the jury of the HERMES AWARD 2024, which honored the innovative 2D Grasping Kit with the coveted technology prize at the Hannover Messe.
Schunk - With the new jaw quick-change system BSWS-R, SCHUNK enables automated finger changes during an ongoing process. The cleverly designed system consists of just a few components and is compatible with all grippers with PGN-plus-P screw connection diagram. The BSWS-R represents the next evolutionary stage of the BSWS series from SCHUNK.
Schunk - For a long time now, users in metalworking have been won over by the benefits of hydraulic expansion technology in toolholders: Tools are clamped via a hydraulic mechanism where, on inserting a screw, the internal pressure medium is compressed and the expansion sleeve elastically deformed. In this way, the tool shank is tightly enclosed. The high tension ensures absolutely secure holding of the tool and precise run-out accuracy of less than 0.003 mm.
Schunk - From June 27 to 30, 2023, the world's leading trade show for intelligent automation and robotics will bring together key technologies for the production of the future in Munich. At automatica, SCHUNK will be exhibiting smart new developments that enable handling tasks to be solved transparently, flexibly, and reliably.
Schunk - On February 9, 2023, SCHUNK opened its eighth CoLab worldwide. The new robot application center is located at the Dutch site in 's-Hertogenbosch. Here, experts accompany the way into automated processes and test customer-specific automation modules realistically on different lightweight robots.
